BASF Coatings develops and sells a comprehensive range of paint systems for automotive refinish applications. The main emphasis here is on eco-efficient waterborne basecoats and high-solids paints with a low solvent content. The BASF Coatings automotive refinish paints are approved for refinish applications by most of the leading vehicle manufacturers and are indeed given preference by them on account of the great color accuracy they offer.
